Celebrate Panama Separation Day
Panama marks November 3 as Separation Day, commemorating separation from Colombia in 1903. It is one of the country’s most important patriotic dates.
The Panamanian flag
Panama’s flag is divided into four quarters using red, white and blue, with a blue star and a red star. The design is deeply connected to the country’s political history and national identity.
Panamanian heritage across borders
Panama + USA, Panama + Colombia, Panama + Costa Rica or Panama + Spain can reflect family connections that cross borders and generations.
